Okay, this is my first and yet only non-pony drawing. It would be better titled as "Failed Sky", but shouldn't I be too obvious, right? Also, my first human. I don't very like fictional species, so you don't expect many of humans by me.

I was so badass while I was drawing it, that I had drawn it at first, and only then I visited the actual place I tried to depict. So wise. As a result, I drew a nonexistent place 6__9 This was intended to look like the Admiralteyskaya embankment in St. Petersburg, but, again, it's impossible to find that exact place, because it looks completely different IRL.

Uh, who the hell cares? -__-

A5, Indian ink.

P.S. That feathering... I officially dislike Winsor & Newton. No, really, it's a heavy weight smooth surface pad, it's specialised for ink and stuff, it must have had no such problems!

Whoohoo! \0/

I think, this one is the most traditional-like among my drawings.

Thank you for your kind comments! It's so lovely to see you like my non-pony stuff too ^__^

The wet pavement and elements of the fence were actually most interesting parts to draw.

Very good for your first attempt. Very nice linework and composition, love the railings and reflections on the wet sidewalk.
The sky is always a challenge. I find slightly wavey horizontal lines work best for overcast or gray skies and vertical lines for clear skies or if you want to add nice puffy clouds.
Keep up the good work!!B^)

Oh, thank you! Well, this is not my first attempt, just the first one with a human and non-fanart.

And thank you for a great advice. In my previous drawings, I did it just the other way round ^__^ And I was wondering, why did look off? Now I think I get (it did by other reasons, too, of course). Will try this way next time (:
